The Sandy Johnson Foundation is a not-for-profit, 501 (c) (3), charitable organization. Funding for The Foundation is derived from three primary sources. Those sources include corporations and individuals wishing to further the cause and stated mission of The Foundation which is to reduce the occurrence of fatal and life-changing injury accidents on our nation’s highways. The majority of funds for set-up and operational expenses have been provided by Sandy’s husband, Dean Johnson, President and Founder of The Foundation. Dean’s wish is that no one experiences the tragedy and pain that he and his family have had to endure. To that end, Dean also donates his time on a full-time basis to the operation and growth of The Foundation which bears his wife’s name. Dean’s belief is that if one life is saved, the dedication of his life to this cause will not have been in vain.
